This complete Beetle kit will deliver 225+ km safe driving distance, and will charge to full in a little under 6 hours. Optional DC FAST Charging available via CHAdeMO providing 16 kW charge rate! The motor power delivery is 100kW and 240 Nm of instant torque, and its top speed is over 160 km/h, definitely fun to drive.

Brake Pressure Transducer:  Regen Brake Signal Sensor – High Quality Amphenol Unit

Charger: TC Charger 6.6 kW CAN controlled. Optional DC FAST Charging available which provides 16 kW charge rate!

BMS: DiLithium Design. This BMS communicates with the on-board charger while monitoring cell groups in the Tesla battery modules to keep all cells balanced during charging and driving.

Portable Type 2 Charge Cable: Take your charge cable with you anywhere so you can opportunity charge anytime anywhere from 10 amp, 15 amp or J1172 outlets.

Type 2 Charge Port Inlet: Type 2 Standard Inlet connects to the Thunderstruck Master Control Unit MCU for safe charging of your vehicle and prevention of drive-away whilst charge cable is plugged in.

Chill Plate: Traction EV designed to suit NetGain AC-X1 and has integrated mount.

Cooling System for AC-X1: Pump, Reservoir, Radiator and Fans. These are essential to keep the AC-X1 controller cool and safe. Very High quality name brand Dash-AN fittings and hose used through out.

Cooling System for Tesla battery: Pump, Reservoir, Radiator and Fans. These are essential to keep the Tesla battery pack cool and safe. Very High quality name brand Dash-AN fittings and hose used through out.

1000 Watt DC/DC Converter: Provides 12 Volt out-put to keep all of your 12 Volt systems running

Inertia Safety Switch: This is a mandatory component to pass safety inspection in all Australian states. This switch will disconnect HazV in the event of a collision.

HazV Labeling Decals: These decals are for all enclosures and visible conduits i.e.  battery boxes, contactor box and cable routes to the rear of vehicle. Also a requirement for safety inspection.

• Windows Lap-Top/PC for setup
• 3/4 inch drive socket set with 36mm socket (1/2″ drive breaker bars will bend). Used to remove flywheel from engine and install on electric motor. 3/4″ socket sets are much bigger than most home workshops have. It may be possible to borrow this tool for the one off job.
• VW Clutch Alignment Tool
• Soldering Iron (if that’s your thing) we prefer crimp tools
• Heat Gun – used on heat shrink and can also be used to heat and fit the Flywheel Coupler to the electric motor which is an interference fit.
• Digital Multi-meter -An absolute must have tool!

Our electric vehicle conversion kit is best suited for small to medium sized vehicles for sporty performance, but also works well in medium to large vehicles. This complete electric vehicle conversion kit will deliver 150km safe driving distance for a 1000kg vehicle, and will charge to full in a little under 8 hours. Need faster charging, ask us about CHAdeMO DC Fast Charging. The power delivery is 170 lbs/ft or 240 Nm of instant torque, and 130hp or 100kW. This system is a lot of fun in a light weight car and has plenty of power to drive a medium to large vehicle as well.
